Richard La Ruina (Gambler) uncovers many of his theories and techniques of attracting women in his new e-book “Natural Game: The System for Becoming a Natural with Women”. In the book, Richard explains the process a man must go through from being an Average Frustrated Chump to a natural with women. The goal is not to say the right lines or do things in a routine way mechanically, but to gain a natural intuition and attractive way of living that is naturally attractive.
Richard’s book is very thorough and covers a wide variety of different techniques of seduction and attraction. Just about everything referred to in The Game is explained in detail in his book, from openers, to body language to inner game. The neat thing is that he finds ways to tie various schools of thought in the community together, as all having value, but that eventually the techniques will become intuitive and natural.
With all the stuff that is out there in the community not much in this book struck me as entirely innovative. What he does do well, however, is combine a variety of different types of game into a system.
In fact he combines methods of direct, indirect, and natural game into not being mutually exclusive. Yet, he also believes that using things like routines and openers are simply training wheels to get you to eventually replace with natural game.
The way he writes is interesting because he intertwines many of his personal stories into what he is trying to teach. This gives the book a more personal character, and makes the reader understand that the author is a real person and not just a PUA.
I found his story interesting, but a bit longwinded at times.
One neat thing he does is gives the reader missions to do after teaching something. If the reader follows along with the missions while reading he will gain a lot more from what he has learned. There, are much fewer missions, than say Neil Strauss’ Rules of the Game, but they are simpler and a little less strange.
I would recommend the book to a newbie, as it covers all the basic principles of the game while showing practical ways it can be used. More advanced guys though would probably not find too much new information in there, if they have read a lot of stuff in the community already. It was a good read though, and I learned things that were new to me or he explained them and a way that I never thought of before. I read a draft however, so the final version will likely be quite a bit better organized and be clearer.
