David DeAngelo was my first encounter with the world of pick up artists. I signed up for his free newsletter and, when I started reading it, the whole of my previously illogical experiences with women began to make sense. So, I subscribed to David Deangelo’s Interviews with Dating Gurus series to learn more.

I live in England and the CDs arrive regularly every month, normally one but occasionally two CDs, each package featuring David DeAngelo interviewing a so called Guru. In fact they range from true gurus like Style and Mystery to other less well known characters with an interest in relationships.

I have around 30 interviews now and I don’t think any of them are complete duffers. Some are outstanding, others just don’t quite strike a chord and in some David likes the sound of his own voice too much. But they all have some value, even if its only one little snippet of information which sinks home.

Some of the first interviews I received were with women which was an interesting perspective and well timed for the state I was in at the time. It confirmed the seemingly way out theories David Deangelo and his male guests were promoting and threw in some fashion advice to boot! Steadily this wealth of information has definitely changed all aspects of my life. My “inner game” has been sorted and I’m sure that I’ve developed the presence that many PUAs talk about.

As an older guy I’m not so interested in pulling women in bars but I now find that I can connect with women in any social situation. Not by design, (if only I was that good) my last few relationships have been women in their twenties. I didn’t try to seduce them, they were just attracted to me. As David says, it’s not a choice.

A lot of this is down to the “cocky funny” style which David recommends. To be honest, I think I had always tended to be like that, having a laugh and pulling girls legs. The difference now is I can recognize what is going on and move things on to the next level. I look back and groan at the missed opportunities in my past when I didn’t have the self belief to recognize that women were attracted to me.

If you’re looking for a step by step guide to seducing women this isn’t for you. But if you’re prepared to take some time to understand the bigger picture then it could be the best investment you’ll ever make.
