Hot off the press, this just happened on Facebook.  Ross Jeffries was obviously at home trying to find different directions to spew his hate in (where does that come from Ross? Is your life really so shit?) and decided that today’s target was Richard La Ruina’s (Gambler) Facebook Fan Page.  Check out the unprovoked attack and what followed:

A lot of people when they choose which PUA guru to learn from use the criteria “who would I want to be like”.  For me at least, RJ fails that test pretty hard.  It’s also interesting that he says he is a big NLP expert, but loses on every point to Gambler here.  Also notice the try hard irrelevant mention of his girlfriend.  What kind of crappy guru has to brag about the mere fact of having a girlfriend.  Shouldn’t it be a given that they have women in abundance?

When I first moved to New York City, I used to read all the time about how women wanted a guy with a good sense of humor. It was in every magazine, every talk show…even my female friends would tell me the exact same thing. Even the Magic Bullets Handbook said so, and Magic Bullets is well-known for contradicting conventional wisdom (and being right).

You’d think that a professional comedian such as myself would have no problem with women then, right? Wrong.

I noticed instantly some things that I was already doing right (thanks to my improv and standup training), but some other things that I had WAY wrong. I want to talk to you guys about one of those things right now.

Going from funny to sexy. Why is it that so many really funny comedians have so much trouble hooking up with high quality women? How to you go from being the funny guy to the guy she wants to take home?

The answer is to use humor to mask your sexual intent. That means bringing up the topic of sex, but in a funny way.

Advantages to Sexual Framing

You should always be looking for opportunities to bring up the topic of sex with a woman that you are interested in, even though it can be hard to find a way to make it not creepy. When you talk about sex, you subcommunicate that you are someone who is interested in sex, who has had sex before, who is confident about sex. You start to paint the picture that sex is a normal and important part of your life.

You also start to introduce the idea of sex with the woman you’re talking to, which is really important, especially if you want same night lays. She’ll have a hard time putting you in the friend zone if you’ve already brought up the idea of hooking up with her.

Not only that, but if done in the right way, simply talking about sex can be physically exciting to her. It is a huge tool in breaking though levels of intimacy.

So how do we do this without sounding like a total creeper? The answer is above. USE HUMOR!

One of the things I’ve noticed from having done hundreds of approaches is that you can get away with a lot if you are funny. If you’ve read any of my “On The Fly” articles, you’ll see exactly how much you can get away when you are joking around with a woman. Knowing this, you should always start your sexual framing in a way that’s funny.

Two Techniques for Funny Sexual Framing

There are literally hundreds of ways to work sex into conversation, but for the moment I’ll hit you with two that are super easy.

The first is to hide it in a role play. A role play is putting you and the woman in a fake scenario that she can play along with. For example, pretending that you are breaking up even though you just met:

“I’m totally breaking up with you. I’ll come over tomorrow to get my CD’s and for the breakup sex.”

You can even pretend that you’ve been married and add all sorts of crazy fake details:

“That’s it! You and I are getting a divorce. Just as well. You could never handle me in bed anyways.”

Once you have the fake scenario out there, you’ve got free reign over the kind of material you can make up. Why not make up something sexual?

The second technique has to do with one of my Disqualification types. In my Humor, Improv and Attraction seminar I go deep into Disqualification and go over the 10 different types. One of those types is called Raising Your Value, in which you boast about your positive qualities. You talk about how attractive you are, how cool you are, and most importantly, how sure you are that the woman you are talking to you is attracted to you:

“You’re such a sexual predator. I can feel you undressing me with your eyes right now!”

or

“I’d appreciate it if you’d get your mind out of the gutter. I know it’s hard because I’m so hot, but just do your best and think unsexy thoughts.”

In both of the above techniques, even though it’s just a joke, it still breaks through those same levels of intimacy. It has the same effect, even though it’s just a joke!

The above tools are a good place to start, but it really is just the tip of the iceberg. Using some of the other techniques I teach can jump off comments like those into some super charged sexual framing!

For example, did you know that these sexual jokes are a perfect opportunity to escalate physically? Just throw it into the joke! Why not have the fake breakup conversation with her sitting on your lap? Why not give her a friendly hug then accuse her of copping a feel? The possibilities are limitless if you’re looking in the right places.

Of course they have to be in on the joke for this to work, so make sure you get on the same page with them as soon as possible.

He basically says it’s not becoming a badboy, jerk or an alpha male that will get laid consistently, but becoming that outgoing, positive fun guy (for a simplistic paraphrasing).

I’m going to add something here, that you should do EVERY SINGLE MONTH, at least, maybe every week.

I still get value from this exercise, and it takes very little time. However, just knowing this exercise won’t help, you have to actually DO IT.

Take one piece of A4. At the top write “I see a hot girl”. At the bottom write: “we start having sex” (or “she says ‘I do’”, or whatever your actual outcome is).

Then fill in a plausible and detailed explanation of how you got from seeing this chick to being balls deep. Whenever you get to a point where you’re not sure what to write, you’ve found a sticking point.

For the VAST majority of guys I’ve met, this will be:

“I see a hot girl. I go and run some opinion opener from the internet on her. Then, uh.. um. Maybe I tease her? Uh, and, uh.”

BANG. Sticking point identified. Do some research at this point. What comes next? Post a question to the forum. Ask someone what should happen next.

You don’t need to work out the best thing to say – you’re not looking for lines to memorize, and you’re not looking for some kind of magical routine – it’ll never go down the way you’ve planned it anyway. You’re looking for an understanding of a plausible next step. Don’t accept answers like “Then you be an alpha male and she fucks you” – not good enough. Ask for specific sample dialogue. Don’t try and replicate those, don’t try and parrot that shit off, but use them to get an understanding of what and why happens next.

As my own example, the first time I did this, I got to: “we’re making out in the club”, and I was like WTF happens next? So I asked a natural buddy, and he said: “Last time I just told the girl I’d make her a cocktail back at mine”.

What did I do? I went out and spent a far too much money on cocktail alcohol and equipment. Next time I went out, I was making out with this girl, and was like: “So, uh, do you want a cocktail back at mine?”. Answer: “No”. DOH! Asked for more advice on this, was told to make the bounce home gentler and less obvious … and with time, got that shit sorted. Learning how to bounce was a massive sticking point for me, and I hadn’t even realised it – once I had that sorted, I started having a one-night stand. The point being: you won’t get this stuff right first time, but a plausible idea of how to go about it is crucial

Do I use some long-winded and complicated extraction technique now? No, of course not. Now I instinctively know how to bounce, instinctively know the subtleties, and tend to just say: “ok, we’re out of here!”. But the identification of the sticking point through the above exercise (and subsequent ones), the focus on actually closing and getting from A to B is what started accelerating my game.

Key points:

* Write personal, detailed, and fictional descriptions of how you went from seeing a girl to fucking her to help you get the process straight in your head, and identify your weak points

* Ask for advice any time you find yourself having trouble writing plausible dialogue or action sequences

* The point isn’t to prescript the interaction, the point is to identify your sticking points in getting from A to B – it won’t ever go down the way you planned anyway

* Don’t accept wishy-washy advice that doesn’t come with plausible detailed examples

Your life is only as powerful as the people you meet. Think about this for one second.

In order to become something in life, you need to learn something from everybody you meet. Everything in life that happens to you, happens to you for a reason. This is not a revelation; it is all just plain truth. The real question, though, is what do you do with this? What do you take away from meeting each person with whom you come into contact?

Every day you should meet one more interesting person. Every day is a chance to learn. Every day you should be learning something about yourself and something about other people. Every day. So you should be learning something every day, but you should also be teaching something every day. You should do this because while we are all students of life, we are also all teachers in life.

You are only as powerful as the people you meet and attract into your life. What do you do, though, if you don’t have a chance to meet a lot of people?

In that case, you need to set goals for yourself. The only way to go out there and meet people is to set a goal. Set goals like “I am going to carry on a conversation with three total strangers every single day.”

Understand that building your social network can also build your business network. It’s not just about attracting the opposite sex.

It’s also about becoming a stronger person. It’s about being somebody who has a powerful network.

So you must meet a lot of people in order to be successful. Just meeting a lot of people, however, is not enough. You also have to ask a lot of questions, learn from these experiences and embrace them.

In order to be the most well-rounded person you can be, you need to start building up your network. You’re only as successful as your network. If you crave success in life – no matter whether it’s monetary success, personal success,
dating success or some other kind of success — you must cultivate that network and be able to really learn from everyone.

Don’t worry when you are in a situation in which people are talking about things you don’t know or about a subject you don’t know well. In those situations it is perfectly okay for you to just sit back and listen.

Say, for example, you are listening to a whole bunch of people talk about politics and you know very little about politics. Instead of trying to say something to add into the conversation, why not just kick back and listen for a minute or two . . . or even 20 or even 30?

History will always repeat itself. I guarantee you that down the road the same topic is going to come up in a conversation. Because you listened to those people and you became educated about that subject matter, you will be able to contribute to that conversation.

So, cultivate a powerful network in life. If you cultivate a powerful network, you are going to be a success in every aspect of your life.

Reach out to people. Send an email to someone you have always wanted to meet.

Is there someone that you want to mentor you? Send an email to them telling them how much you love their work, and that you would love to ask them some questions. You can also tell them that the number one question you have is, “What does it take to be as successful as you?”

Everyone loves to talk about themselves. People will share themselves with someone they know is interested, because everyone who is successful remembers that at some point in their life they had a mentor who helped them.

So it’s time to build up your network and become as successful as you want to be!

Let’s talk a little bit about setting an intent. I’m going to share a story with you, one that is very personal to me.

The other night I was kind of just sitting around, and I started reminiscing a little bit. Then I started thinking to myself, “God, it’s amazing.” I read all your posts on the blog and on YouTube. I see all of you struggling so much either trying to meet someone, to work on aspects of your relationship or to work on aspects of yourself. What I realized was that I think a lot of you are missing the point.

Here’s the story I want to share with you. When I was nineteen years old, I was really skinny. I know I’m not exactly the bulkiest guy in the world right now. At nineteen, though, I was really thin. I was a ‘tall drink of water’ — tall, lean and thin.

Then I saw the movie Flashdance. As most of you know, Flashdance was a hot, sexy dance movie. After seeing it I thought to myself, “I really want to be in that type of shape where I can just rock it at all times.”

The minute the movie ended, I went into the basement of the house I was renting in college and I started working out. I haven’t stopped since that day.

I have been working out since I was nineteen, and I’m now 47 years old. I’ve been working out consistently for 28 years.

When I was in my 20s, I was a big guy. I was bulky, big around the neck, and had big arms and shoulders. Now, at 47 years old, I’m more lean again.

The one thing that will never change about me is being in shape. I will always be in shape.

Why? Because I work at it every day. Every single day I do something.

last night a took a long walk on the beach after we had dinner. The day before that I did weights. Tomorrow I’m probably going to go for a bike ride. The day after that I’m probably going to go do some more weights, maybe do a little bit of stretching and Pilates.

No matter what it is, every day I’m doing something. It might be for half an hour, 45 minutes or an hour. It doesn’t matter. The reason why I do it every day is because I believe there is no reason for me not to look good, and not to feel good about who I am and what I’m all about.

Why should I look flabby? Why should my woman look at me and think to herself, “God he looked so much better six months ago. Why doesn’t he look that good now?”

That’s the message I want to get through to all of you. The message is that if you want to achieve goals, you’ve got to painfully do something every day.

Do I enjoy working out? Some days I hate it. Do I enjoy taking a long walk? Sometimes I love it, but other times I just don’t want to do it.

I do it not only to look good, but also because it makes me feel good. I like to feel tight. I like to feel ripped. I like to feel my body.

I don’t like to feel flabby in any way. I wouldn’t want to see myself with a big belly.

Is this all ego? There’s probably a little bit of ego involved, but a big part of it is the way it makes me feel. I feel great.

All of you need to realize that in order for you to get good at something, you’ve got to do the work. You’ve got to drag your ass out there every single day. You’ve got to drag yourself out there even on days you don’t want to drag yourself out there.

You have no choice but to drag yourself out there and get things done. If you want to become good at something, then you’ve got to do it every single day (including on days you don’t want to do it).

So even when it’s cold or raining, you’ve got to get to the gym or get out there and meet people or do whatever it is that you have set as a goal for yourself. If you want to become a good conversationalist, for example, you’ve got to talk to everybody . . . and you’ve got to do it every day.

So many of you will get so frustrated — so painfully frustrated — while you’re working on a goal. It will drive you up the wall. It will drive you crazy. You’ll get so frustrated, it’s ridiculous.

You’ve got to work through those frustrations. I was so proud when I had that realization the other day that for the last 27 years I’ve worked through my frustrations and therefore can look in the mirror today knowing I’m in as good shape now as i was in at age nineteen.

Do you know how that makes me feel? I’ve got a herniated disc. You would never know it by looking at me . . . ever. I move well. I’m strong. That makes me feel great!

I’ve got a blown shoulder. I can move through that pain, and I’m strong as can be.

How about getting blown off by a woman once in a while. That is a frustration that I know many of you face. All of you can blow right through all that stuff. I know you can. I know every one of you can.

You’ve just got to persevere. You’ve just got to drag yourself out there every day and work on the things you need to work on. You can do it. I know you can do it.
