Excerpt from a recent editorial from Askmen.com.

The recent trend toward men with androgynous characteristics may be due to women’s subconscious rejection of the previously celebrated alpha males. Some PUAs already wear the Adam Lambert-manliner. Is the next logical step to blend more feminine attributes into their alpha to make it more easily digestible? Or possibly the same techniques may appear fresh again if presented in a bumbling Seth Rogen-esque manner? The bromantic comedy boom could inspire a new wave of PUAs that look like AFCs. You could be a Trojan Horse of seduction. The woman thinks she’s gotten the gift of a new unintimidating male friend when suddenly a secret chamber bursts open and from it pours sublime seduction skills. Before she knows it, she’s Katherine Heigl in Knocked Up (hopefully without the pregnancy part).

The stock market is down 300 points…

Unemployment reaches 10% in California…

Foreclosures are at an all-time high…

The housing market is down 35%…

Let me ask you something: how do you feel about all of the headlines these days? Are you using this as your newest excuse for not going out to meet people? Or not to purchase things that you really desire that will improve your life?

Do you know what I’ve discovered? This is something that I really believe: the economy is not really as bad as we say it is – the economy is only as bad as we think it is because most of you are buying into the hype.

It’s that poverty mentality. It’s all of you saying to yourselves, “Well, I may still have a job but the economy is bad right now, and I’m not going to do the things I want to do. I’m going to wait for the economy to get better. I’m going to wait for President Obama to tell me that the economy is better.”

In reality, you have to start taking charge of your own economy. You are your own government.

Do you still have a job? Are you safe at your job? Does your job still pay you what it did last year? Are you managing your bills like you always have? Are you paying things on time? Are you buying things you can afford?

The economy keeps getting worse because the people who find themselves in a good financial situation (which is 90% of us!) stop spending money and push the economy into a further funk.

And this becomes your new excuse. It’s unbelievable. As humans, we are always looking for excuses not to progress. We come from a fear-based society.

So let me ask all of you a question today. How is the economic downturn REALLY affecting you? And be honest – are you really just using it as an excuse?

Life is all about mindset. What you believe is what you are going to attract. And if you have a poverty mindset, you’re going to be the next one fired during these poor economic times. If you truly believe that the world is coming to an end, it will.

I don’t believe that the world is coming to an end. My business is fine. I love my clients. Money comes in, people buy products and come to bootcamps, and I give it my all.

But it really amazes me how many people have that poverty consciousness – they’re watching every last dime thinking that it will actually be their last dime.

You attract exactly what you are. You have to understand that life is about abundance. If you live an abundant lifestyle, you’ll have an abundant lifestyle. I’m not talking about going out there and spending more money than you make – I think that’s ridiculous.

But the “doom and gloom” people – which a lot of you are – tend to really think that life is going to come to an end.

Do you remember Y2K? How many of you thought that the world was going to come to an end when the clock struck midnight, bringing in the year 2000? How many of you actually believed that everything would go haywire? That you wouldn’t be able to get your money out of the bank? That things wouldn’t work anymore?

I knew a person during that time that actually quit his job, moved to the mountains of Arizona and traded all of his money for gold because he was afraid of leaving his money in the bank. This is the same thing all over again. People buy into the “doom and gloom” because they live in a world full of fear and excuses.

What would you rather live in: a world of abundance and positive energy or a world based on fear?

Dealing with the Douches

After browsing Hot Chicks with Douchebags, I realized that there are many more douchebags out there than I realized.

These tactics are not for the weak hearted. They can lead to the douche really having a miserable time. If you’ve put up with constant cockblocking and general douchebag behavior from this certain guy, then use these tactics at your own discretion.

1. Anything that causes him to demonstrate maturity. eg. Get him to meet their mom, set em loose and say her mom loves it when men give her attention. Her mom won’t be putting in a good word. (More single women go out with their moms these days, kinda crazy)

2. Anything that puts him up to competition with other men. eg. Take a girls purse that’s sitting on the edge of a bar and push it near the douche. In 90% of the cases, the douche wont help. Call him out on it in a pleasant way, after helping the target.

3. Lives in an imaginary world thinking he’s all that. eg. Challenge him to a pickup challenge on something that is a suicide mission. Convince him that he can do it and that he has mad skills and it’s impossible to fail. Pick a woman that has a massive ripped boyfriend that’s a true alpha. The douche doesn’t have social calibration enough to stop him from doing it.

Wow! RSD Nation Seriously Loves Alex’s Video (& Bans Those Who Don’t)

I don’t know about you guys, but Alex (Real Social Dynamics executive coach) thought the video he uploaded was “natural game”. What am I missing?

I think some of the guys in the other post were confusing what a drunk girl acts like with what a girl who is intimidated acts like. I thought it was a good example of how a girl gets dominated by a strong reality in an instant.

Like Tyler said in the Blueprint, like the kid taking the cookie – you saw, you went for it.

Now instantly when people see this, they’ll think “Oh well you’re just a hater or negative.” Maybe I am.

But have you ever considered that your perception is tainted through conditioning? Think about it, it’s a very short video that doesn’t show much other then a miscalibrated conversation that ANYONE could of done.

Other Guys on RSDNation Not Impressed

Ummm, what am I missing? Why is this impressive?

I see basic drunk frat guy ballsy dominance, but I don’t see her going DDB. I don’t necessarily even see any real attraction on her part. She seems like shes nervous and uncomfortable. I definitely don’t sense attraction here. Maybe some tolerance and some curiosity at best…

Is this you Alex?

Maybe video is just too short?

Blueprint in action? Seems a contradiction to say that whilst at the same time polling the entire forum for their thoughts when one of Blueprint’s core credos is not caring what anyone thinks?!

Overall I don’t think it looks that great. Like’s been mentioned if it was anyone else claiming it was a ‘pick up’ from that small segment they would’ve been ripped. Alex’s having a good time, looks confident, but if I didn’t know better I’d say it just looks like the brand of good-time-confident every drunk party-guy out of a weekend does.

Still, as one of Alex’s colleagues says, great pick-up looks pretty bland and text book when you see it, no fireworks coming out your ass, so maybe the guy’s kind of a victim of his own success: we expect to see more, when what we do see is maybe enough.

And what I see that didn’t ‘gel’, and is maybe the pertinent point, is the ease with which she put her arm round him which was at odds with her face and the rest of her body language (guarded hand in front of her chest). She looked less than happy when she comfortably slid her arm round him again seconds later and seemed to be warming, smiling but by the end just looked disinterested again.

So overall it didn’t look that great to me on first impression but was intrigued with the ‘face saying one thing, arm doing another’ behaviour I noted.

Honest Assessment:

If somebody outside of the community posted this video as an example of a great PUA, the majority of the board would criticize it. Not because it was bad, but the sample size was small (1 video/ 51 seconds). Nothing really happened on video except for SUB-COMMUNICATION. Which is my new favorite word. I’m using it when I hit the bars Thursday night.

However, If an RSD Instructor posted it, they will mostly praise it and point out sub-communication and refer to stuff that happened once the camera’s are off. And find every possible way to put a positive as opposed to negative spin on the video.

Honest Assessment:

Anyone with balls, confidence, camcorder and a friend could go make the same video this upcoming weekend. But I guess that is the point, you have balls and confidence, thus….

What? This girl just looks sort of nervous, like a caged animal. Shes had a really loud dude stop her, and another dude shove a camera in her face… so she’s playing along. I’m dumbfounded anyones impressed by this. ?!?

My Take

Sure, it’s fun to go out and act like a jackass at times and not give a crap of the outcome. However, being like that does not mean you have “natural game” or have rock solid “inner game”. Usually, those who have to act super extroverted have major insecurities about being themselves.

Case in point: Celebrities. Those that are very loud and attention seeking but whose personal lives are a mess. eg. Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Andy Dick. Celebrities that are dignified and hold their own have great relationships and usually do great things with themselves. Tom Hanks, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler.

My point being: just because your “loud” and “dominant” doesn’t have anything to do with inner game and confidence.

Like my new favorite commenator, John, said:

“Oh, I see, I get it now: He who drinks is a bozo and a chode but he who acts 100% drunk but without drinking is a deep philosopher and a natural?”

Wake up guys. Let’s get back on track.

Real Social Dynamics Infield Video Surfaces… Result? Creepy.

Not sure where this video came from, but it featured one of the Real Social Dynamics instructors, Alex. I’d be worried about the results of students learning from him. Save your $2500 and get some liquor instead.

Apparently, Tyler said that Alex is “One of the best pick up artists I’ve ever seen”. In Alex’s defense, this is one interaction, and doesn’t necessarily convey his level of success with women. But the vibe is creepy, and might be a good indication. Check out the video response by JLStud13 below.

I actually think that the Blueprint is a good product. What got me banned there was saying that despite it offering very sound concepts, most of them are old wisdom found in many general self help books and older ‘get girls’ ebooks, sold for a fraction of the price.

It is my belief that those who don’t have their money grow on trees should be aware of this information. RSD’s forum moderators seem to think otherwise.

Crazy. I’ve noticed other forum’s like the one run by The Mystery Method does contain some untouched negative reviews although most are positive. Why Aweber Sucks and Getresponse Rocks My Socks

I just got an email a week or so ago saying that my account was canceled effective immediately with Aweber. Now for those guys who aren’t in the internet webmaster world, Aweber is a paid email mailing provider. It’s how I communicate with you guys via newsletter.

Out of nowhere they cancelled me.

Why?

They said I had pornography or sex-related materials on my site in an unfriendly, not even considering my side of it email.

Ok… I was thinking about the content, you know David Wygant writes some pretty heavy stuff at times. But NO, it wasn’t a sex-related post. Over the phone they gave me the URLs for this post, this post, and this post.

I thought it was funny. Is this some crazy evangelical owned firm in Pennsylvania?

I read over the Terms of Service that they said I had violated and found this:

“Pornography and sex-related merchandising are prohibited on any AWeber Systems server. AWeber Systems will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.”

Ok, that’s fine. But are those photos pornographic? To my knowledge Maxim, GQ and FHM aren’t pornography. And if they really want porn, I’m sure we all can show them what real PORN is.

Onto the second point, NONE OF THESE IMAGES WERE HOSTED ON AWEBER SERVERS! None of my emails even mentioned those posts, so I was not in violation of their stated Terms of Service. So I’m filing a complaint with American Express and getting part of my money back.

I have switched to GetResponse, which I was thinking about doing a few months ago, and it’s system is so much more friendly to use subscribing/unsubscribing and SPAM features are superior to Awebers.

I highly recommend Getresponse for those guys looking for an email mailing provider and Aweber can kiss my “porn” anytime.

It’s such a hassle switching, because MANY of you guys aren’t yet subscribed to the new service and were confused when I resent an email asking you to confirm the subscription.

Here are my thoughts,

SeduceInSeconds has a weaker argument against PUAWatchdog mostly because he’s attacking PUAWatchdog’s character and methods rather than the facts. Just because there are multiple schools called Redham in Sydney doesn’t excuse the fact that she stated she attended school with him. When does someone ever say they went to school with someone if they didn’t? If you go to the University of California – Los Angeles campus, you wouldn’t say that you went to the same school as your friend who went to the University of California – Irvine or University of California – Riverside. That seemed odd to me.

“I never thought I was going to date an older man when I first met him,” Ms Hinze told the magazine, which is on sale tomorrow.

“To me, it was different to hang out with someone with something to say that was so interesting and important and who was truly, incredibly intelligent.

“He’s handsome and has so much charisma – and he’s so funny.”

Ms Hinze is a former Sports Illustrated covergirl and recently became the face of fashion label Sportscraft.

The US press referred to her as the “Aussie Angel” when she and Mr Clark were spotted together during his divorce from former Forbes magazine reporter Nancy Rutter.

The couple have also been spied together relaxing on Mr Clark’s yacht Athena, the largest privately-owned yacht in the world.

Ms Hinze said Mr Clark was a regular guy, despite being reportedly worth $US1.1 billion ($A1.2 billion).

“He’s very normal and down to earth,” she said.

“He’s an incredible man and I just love him.”

What is your opinion? Do you think Jim Clark has game or is he relying on his wealth? Just because someone is rich, that doesn’t necessarily mean that someone doesn’t have tight game. That could be the reason he is rich and successful, because he knows how to hustle and gains self confidence through life experiences which is attractive to women. What do you think?

Ashley Youmans aka Governor Spitzer’s Hooker – What Would You Do?

Everyone here in the US has heard about the resignation of New York state Governor Splitzer. We’ll you usually have a fat intern at the other end of a scandal.

Give props to Spitzer for at least choosing a beautiful call girl. I’ve always wondered what the hell Hugh Grant was thinking. Apparently this girl Ashley Youmans currently lives in a posh New York City apartment and is trying to get her music career off the ground.

BTW, if you went to high school with Ashley Youmans then you should check out the new Facebook group. I love the internet. It’s like shame virus central, equally as satisfying is her online dating profile (which could be a fake) that says “I do very bad things, and I do them very well.”. Awesome. Shout out to Bobby Rio – this girls dirty and from New Jersey!

The question I pose to you gentlemen is this:

How would you pick up a girl like this without using Spitzer money? Obviously she sees men as a prostitute, something which you would not be aware of. She would probably have money and might even associate a negative feeling with men with power, money and probably wouldn’t get overly jealous if you ever used jealous plot lines or social value tactics.

On the flip side, perhaps she is sexually drawn to that. Hence, killing to birds with one stone. Maybe she craves the feeling of security that comes from being a call girl for men with money and power. Those are just some of my thoughts, but I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below about how you would seduce a woman that seduces men.

Valentines Day: What’s Love Got To Do With It?

My friend Travis, who I’ve been friends with for years and who has no relation to this community, wrote this essay for an English class. I thought it would be fitting to post it here. I only got this yesterday although I would have loved to post it on Valentines. Next year…

During the course of the year there is one day that men have come to fear and despise. What day could cause such a response one might ask? What is it about this particular day that could make men go so crazy? Its not only men that go crazy on this day though, some would argue that women are even more adversely affected by this day.

No matter what the outcome caused by this event is, there is never enough good to out weigh the bad. Valentines Day is the worst day of the year.

The history of Valentine’s is a simple one. St Valentine was arrested in Rome and beaten to death and beheaded because he would not deny the faith. He was then made the patron saint of epilepsy because he had it in life. February 14th was the day that he was martyred. He also became the patron saint of lovers when the pagan Februarca or festival of love, which was on the 15th, was assimilated in to the Christian faith. It became a popular holiday in which people passed Valentine cards in 1700′s.

Unfortunately what started out as a wonderful idea has mutated into a monster of epic proportions. A holiday that was once about sending cards to loved ones explaining how they feel, has turned into a day in which florist and jewelers throw millions of advertising dollars at because they want to push their product. We can’t blame them though, it is a free market society and they are just living by supply and demand. If we put the blame anywhere, we have to put it with us, the consumer.

Now if I were going to be biased I would say that it is all the women’s fault and that men are blameless when it comes to this day. But I know that some men are just as much to blame as women are. But the point of this paper is not to place blame for the day but to show why, at least to men, this is the worst day of the year.

No let me break it down for you in simple terms. Women have brought all of the heartache of this day upon themselves. How might we ask have they done this? I will give you a scenario. John comes home from work just like any other day. He has had a long day at the office and what he wants more then anything is to just kick off his shoes and relax, have a drink, watch the news, maybe even hit the sack early. But today is Valentines Day and the little Mrs. isn’t having any of that. The lack of flowers and or roses and or dinner and or jewelry and or poetry have doomed our good man to weeks and weeks of mistreatment by his significant other. There will also be a reminder of his Valentines Day failure for a lifetime, women never forget some things.

Now this situation could have and might have happened to all of us. Why might we ask is this so?

Another scenario for us: John comes home from work. He has made reservations, bought roses, found the baby sitter, if necessary, and even written a poem for the woman in his life. He is a bout to be in really good graces for at least a couple of days. Its April 14th, so what’s the difference.

Appreciation rather than expectation, that is the difference. On April 14th his significant other appreciates the gesture. She sees the man as a thoughtful, wonderful, romantic man. Yet when the same thing happens on the 14th of February its more like: It’s a damn good thing you remembered.

Expectation is a dangerous thing especially when the expectations are coming from women. What rational thought makes them think they deserve a gift or a thought anymore on this day then on any other? Not that women shouldn’t be given things like this, because they should. They should just not expect it.

Tom Shane from the Shane Company has a saying “If you love her, show her with a carat or bigger.” I have a saying “Kill Tom Shane!” The commercialization of this so called holiday has lead women to believe that: 1. they really do deserve and 2. That if a man doesn’t get them things, he doesn’t love them. Expectations!

I am going to be blunt here for just a second. Any women reading this should know that I say this not to be malicious but to really drive home a point. Something that is appreciated is a gift. Something that is expected is a payment. We all know what kind of women we pay, and I don’t want to call any of the women I know by that title. I just want them to appreciate the effort and forgive AND forget the mess ups.

Could this have all been avoided? I don’t know. But I do know that there really isn’t any easy solution to this problem. We can keep going on like this for ever and ever, but with the commercialization of all our holidays we need to realize that things possibly wont get better and probably will get worse. If we could just make Valentines Day a floating holiday and not let women or any type of vendor know what day it is going to be on any given year, then we can solve this problem. But trying to accomplish anything on a scale as grand as that is very near impossible.

So when we can get the expectation out of this day, then we will be able to remove the fear and despising of the day from the men. Men should be able to live with out the fear that a forgetful moment on one day might stick with them for the rest of their lives. Remove the expectation and remove the fear. If and only if we accomplish this will this day return to being a holiday rather than a tax day. But until then Valentines Day remains: The worst day of the year.

Best Example of Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus

Here’s a prime example of “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus” offered by an English professor from the University of Phoenix:

The professor told his class one day:

“Today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. As homework tonight, one of you will write the first paragraph of a short story. You will e-mail your partner that paragraph and send another copy to me.

The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story and send it back, also sending another copy to me.

The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back-and-forth.

Remember to re-read what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. There is to be absolutely NO talking outside of the e-mails and anything you wish to say must be written in the e-mail. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached.”

The following was actually turned in by two of his English students Rebecca and Gary:

THE STORY

(first paragraph by Rebecca)

At first, Laurie couldn’t decide which kind of tea she wanted. The chamomile, which used to be her favourite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked chamomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So chamomile was out of the question.

Meanwhile, Advance Sergeant Carl Harris, leader of the attack squadron now in orbit over Skylon 4, had more important things to think about than the neuroses of an air-headed asthmatic bimbo named Laurie with whom he had spent one sweaty night over a year ago. “A.S. Harris to Geostation 17,” he said into his transgalactic communicator. “Polar orbit established. No sign of resistance so far…” But before he could sign off a bluish particle beam flashed out of nowhere and blasted a hole through his ship’s cargo bay. The jolt from the direct hit sent him flying out of his seat and across the cockpit.

He bumped his head and died almost immediately, but not before he felt one last pang of regret for psychically brutalizing the one woman who had ever had feelings for him. Soon afterwards, Earth stopped its pointless hostilities towards the peaceful farmers of Skylon 4. “Congress Passes Law Permanently Abolishing War and Space Travel,” Laurie read in her newspaper one morning. The news simultaneously excited her and bored her. She stared out the window, dreaming of her youth, when the days had passed unhurried and carefree, with no newspaper to read, no television to distract her from her sense of innocent wonder at all the beautiful things around her. “Why must one lose one’s innocence to become a woman?” she pondered wistfully.

The dim-witted wimpy peaceniks who pushed the Unilateral Aerospace Disarmament Treaty through the congress had left Earth a defenseless target for the hostile alien empires who were determined to destroy the human race. Within two hours after the passage of the treaty the Anu’udrian ships were on course for Earth, carrying enough firepower to pulverize the entire planet. With no one to stop them, they swiftly initiated their diabolical plan. The lithium fusion missile entered the atmosphere unimpeded. The President, in his top-secret mobile submarine headquarters on the ocean floor off
the coast of Guam, felt the inconceivably massive explosion, which vaporized poor, stupid Laurie.
