Hot off the press, this just happened on Facebook.  Ross Jeffries was obviously at home trying to find different directions to spew his hate in (where does that come from Ross? Is your life really so shit?) and decided that today’s target was Richard La Ruina’s (Gambler) Facebook Fan Page.  Check out the unprovoked attack and what followed:

A lot of people when they choose which PUA guru to learn from use the criteria “who would I want to be like”.  For me at least, RJ fails that test pretty hard.  It’s also interesting that he says he is a big NLP expert, but loses on every point to Gambler here.  Also notice the try hard irrelevant mention of his girlfriend.  What kind of crappy guru has to brag about the mere fact of having a girlfriend.  Shouldn’t it be a given that they have women in abundance?

A lot of guys write in to me and ask for recommendations on the best PUA Forum.  They want to exchange tips, read up, and also meet some guys that they can go out and wing with.  For the past few years I haven’t been an active poster on any of the major forums, but I have always kept an eye on things and kept up to date.

I decided to put this little guide together to help guys who are looking for the best place to discuss game.  The right forum is important.  There are many that aren’t active enough, many that censor posts or are biased, and many where the standard of discussion is pretty low.  Ending up on the wrong forum could negatively impact your game.

Here are the results of which PUA Forum is the best one:

Best PUA Forum:  www.pick-up-artist-forum.com

The most active and largest of the “non-commerical” forums.  Once you register, the forum is low on ads, popups and such like.  The category structure is great, and there is a good level of discussion and enough activity to get answers to your questions.  Forums such as RSD Nation and The Attraction Forums are similarly large but suffer from censorship and moderation that is skewed to support the respective companies (Real Social Dynamics and Love Systems).

Runner Up:  the PUA Forums at MASF

Fast Seduction has been around since 1999, it’s the oldest seduction site…and it kinda looks it!  The forums are pretty ugly, but they are used by the top guys in the game.  MASF is what Neil Strauss talks about in The Game every time he mentions a forum.  You’ll find an archive of all the classic posts by Mystery and co, and recent posts by people like Brad P and 60 Years of Challenge.  Being a little old fashioned, the forum is very low-key when it comes to advertising, which is refreshing.  The posts can be very technical so you might need your PUA glossary at hand when you are browsing if you are a newbie.

So there you have it.  Enjoy.  And remember, when you register for any forums, be sure to read the rules.  Forums are a great way to get inspiration, learn new things, and also find wingmen and local events.

I just read an article on CityPages about a bunch of guys out in the Twin Cities ripping things up.

There was also a swipe at Mystery by a guy that appeared at the end of Vh1′s The Pickup Artist by saying “he’s trying to find his harem of low-self-esteem club rats, and he likes that power”, which probably has a lot of truth to it.
