According to Venusian Arts, they no longer have Mike Long and Area51Lifestyle as a marketing partner. For those guys who aren’t informed, Area51Lifestyle were the powerhouse behind the Mind of Mystery product. Lovedrop told me that the Venusian Arts were upset with the production of the Mind of Mystery DVD set by Area51Lifestyle. Apparently, the DVDs didn’t look like the production photos, had no chapter listings, and basically “warned him in advance not to skimp on those things”.

Hence, the 33% return rate with affiliates and a few as high as 75%. After talking to Lovedrop, he tells me they are no longer working with Mike Long and Area51Lifestyle are using Mystery’s name without Venusian Art’s permission. Mike Long denies this as he tells me they have a signed contract and are owed marketing expenses. These rumors discussed on Savoy’s blog.

There will be a MASSIVE pickup artist superconference in Las Vegas. I went to a similar one two years ago and was not disappointed. I’ll be attending. Here are the details:

The Superconference bandwagon is picking up steam. In the last few days, Carlos Xuma has confirmed that he’ll be there and speaking. He’s a master of inner game. Speer, of Phase Shift Lounge, will be sharing his thoughts. Both Badboy and Cortez of Badboy Lifestyles will be there – providing a rare opportunity to learn from the pioneers of direct game themselves. Brad P will be speaking as well, and sitting on panels, and doing a major presentation on fashion to follow up on the success of his fashion bible. And more special guests, including a couple I’m not allowed to tell you about right now…

But they’ll all be there, February 22-24 in Las Vegas.

New Year’s parties are great places to meet women. Everything is in your favor. People are festive and happy. They don’t have to work the next day. People want to feel close to each other, no one likes being alone, and barriers are down. Like Halloween, it’s also more socially acceptable for women to hook up with different men. If you understand female psychology (and if you don’t, it’s time to pull out your copy of Magic Bullets for a refresher), you’ll know how much a woman’s sexual decision-making is affected by macro- and micro- social norms. (Macro refers to society as a whole. Micro refers to a woman’s immediate peer group).

If you’re going to a club, expect a more intense environment than usual. People will be partying harder, drinking more, and more interested in “fun” than “deep connections”. You’ll also see a lot more women who don’t usually go to clubs, but who will make a couple of exceptions every year, like for New Year’s. So count on a slightly different crowd.

Here’s a question I get a lot. In general it goes something like this “there was just a TV show on the VH-1 network in the United States about dating science, including material similar to that of the The Mystery Method. How has the VH-1’s The Pickup Artist show changed what you do?”

The VH-1 show has changed the game, at least in the US, and anyone who tells you differently is lying to you, probably because they want to sell you something.
