An abundance mindset can stem from many places but I'd say it actually puts more pressure on an individual to think in the ways you describe. I remember when I was at the peak of approaching women (before getting into the serious relationship I am in now) and it would actually restrict my progress when thinking "aw I've had so much success over my life, I should be able to replicate it now".
