VH1′s The Pickup Artist has started again, and everyone in the seduction community is watching… Just for your warning, I’ll do these posts every episode, and they will contain spoilers. You’ve been warned. Here’s the first episode of The Pickup Artist Season 2 Episode 1.
Summary
It pained me to see the guys rock up to the pool and not talk, say hi, or approach any of those beautiful women. However, we don’t know the back story, and it could well be that it was edited or filmed in such a way that made approach difficult or not worth it.
Well the season started by having the guys go into the club. Alex got approached by two girls, and should have escalated. But he didn’t.
What was quite interesting to me was watching Mystery update his clothing a bit. He defintely needs to update that goth image, which is just over done in my opinion. Matador was looking sharp, and his skills matched. Mystery looked the best I’ve seen him when he was striped down to a vest and jeans and forced to execute the game “naked” of gambits. Thumbs up for that.
The guys then went on to stores, got pimped out, and changed their images. I personally only think a few of them looked decent. All of them looked BETTER, but only two or three looked great. I also think the guy with the long hair shouldn’t of cut it, he should’ve used that to his advantage. Long hair is awesome and girls really respond to it. So they should’ve cleaned it up and told him how to use it. **SPOILER** Alex was kicked of the show early. I agree with the judges, he had a gay vibe, and his heart wasn’t in it.
Next week, we’ll be sure to see more of what the Mystery Method has to offer as the guys no doubt head to the clubs with openers.

Some of the guys need A LOT of work and some other look like they have a lot of potential, like tha “hyperactive” one he looks really passionate about learning to meet women and thats nice
I think they should have shown full infield footage of Mystery and Matador and not edited down to bits and pieces of them talking to and making out with different girls.
it’s nice and generous to help those guys find a woman to pick up but it doesn’t teach them how to evolve with a woman, it only teaches them how to get laid. They won’t be acting like sex-starved teenager their own lives (if it’s their choice to stay in that phase, it’s their problem) and when they will want more out of life than staying in the repeated stage of chasing women, they might have a hard time changing their mental behavior, making them probably unfaithful husbands, cause they see how easy it is to change girls instead of working out a problem with their spouse. What i am trying to say: it is nice that you give them a hand but it does not do them necessarily a favor.

@LibertyF – I think the point is that once they have the skills they can find a woman that they naturally click with and will want to stay with, as opposed to just *settling* for anything they can get and trying to force the relationship to work.

I was amazed by how good looking the dude with the formerly long hair looked post-makeover.
The hyperactive one, simeone is an incredible tool, he’s the worst. Asian afro dude is a total weirdo as well. I like the dude who had a gaptooth.
this is pointless, mystery anelates the ones that need most help. by chuking out the worst of the bunch he ensures he gets the best instead of helping all.
there are two types of soccer competitions in europe, leauge, tournment. itll be fairer for all the leauge
Yeah… but was he kicked off for the reason’s they said… or was it because he was FAT.
I mean, he DID have women coming to talk to him… so what if he doesn’t know what to do with it.
Just a thought…
in the end, i believe shows like this instead of showing ANYONE can meet & attract women and can be good as any other, will instead show that only the cool looking or socially free guys can achieve success.
Lets hope this isnt true but i think the world will show its prejudice and pple like Rian have no hope of winning the show.

Plus that kelvin seems to be able to bring himself too easily. its like he already has what we try to teach and yet isnt successful.

nice, but it would be great if you can analyze and tell more in the post about the techniques they are using, for example in this episode, the techniques of the pickup masters that they use in the club.
All of the techniques used are the most elementary straight of out Magic Bullets routines.
I been studying to be a Pickup Artist through social dynamics and improvization for 3 years and this show isn’t fake I took classes with the same guys who were Mystery’s wings for a week long course and training which cost $3000 and schedual them all over North America and I live in Mystery’s home town in Toronto, Ontario. The 2007-2008 I dated over a 200 times, had sex with quite a few but only 1 fell in drop dead beautiful redheaded girl fell love with me and I havn’t seen any other girl since and will merry her next year. If I never got involved with this stuff she wouldn’t of gave me a second look and had guys hitting on her all the time where ever she goes but I shined through I became a better Man and showed my personality much more.
