YouTube Banned My Channel

by Editor on September 27, 2008

Well… it happened without warning.

I logged on to YouTube to throw up a new video, and YouTube had permanently disabled my account.
Why would this happen?

Apparently, Real Social Dynamics filed a copyright infringement notice for that infamous Alex Infield Video.

Interesting considering a comment that notevenwater made on the blog:

From what I heard, Tyler said Alex was acting on his own in those videos and those videos weren’t an RSD product or RSD related. In other words Alex wasn’t acting as an RSD instructor when he made them. This just goes to show why Tyler needs a better attorney: if those videos weren’t made for RSD, then RSD doesn’t own the copyright to them and RSD has no authority to ask youtube to take them down. Either they were (1) RSD products or (2) they weren’t–Tyler can’t have it both ways.

Well…

It gave me a good reason to change my YouTube channel’s name from Attraction Chronicles to the blog’s new name (for the past 2 years or so) Seduction Chronicles.

I want you to keep up to date with new videos I post, so go ahead right now and subscribe for free to it. You can do this via the YouTube channel and if you don’t have a YouTube account, you can signin with your Google Account.

I’m going to keep posting great videos, and hopefully next time YouTube can use some judgement before taking down newsworthy videos!

You can view the new channel here, and don’t forget to subscribe to keep up to date for free when new videos are put up there.

(My previous channel had over 3500+ subscribers, so let’s get it back up there!)
