call me cynical – David D.’s race is long run. he’s right up there with Mystery as teacher who’s motives are more financial than anything else now, who has nothing new and hasn’t for ages.
with the community more well known now, he doesn’t even have his old appeal of offering more gifted field-players much needed exposure as a guest speaker on his shows. Hence the Inner game angle that he can teach himself.

I’d agree, he seems more of a business/sales man than a pick up guru.
Did I mention that I know of three big name guests already? So if David Deangelo aint your deal, there’s other guys there. For $1000 (I think will be the price) it’s well worth it.

However it seems as if it will be old knowledge repacked…
can’t comment on that Placebo, but these guys haven’t been at any David D events before (too my knowledge)
It will be very interesting to follow DD in 2008.
To use a technology analogy, you have “platform” franchises like Microsoft/Windows or Google Advertising, and then you have Windows applications, or websites that plug into the google advertising system.
For a couple of years, DoubleYourDating was a major “platform” for the seduction community, with the show/guest speaker format.
To further the analogy, I think that the community has shifted over to an “open source” platform- key components being blogs, podcasts, and the blog-aggregator sites like SargeNation.
DD remains a guy to watch because although DoubleYourDating is less relevant as a platform, he has a known track record of being able to exploit opportunities in this area.
As far as the content in his upcoming seminar, I think that RSD and Authentic Man (among others) have already gone there in the areas of natural game and transformation, so it’s not clear that any new radical new ground is being broken. But it’s interesting to see DD go in this direction and what his twist on transformation will be.
I wouldn’t say he’s just doing it for the money, because he’s charging much less than most people do for seminars and he’s not hosting it in a theatre, which the guy COULD probably pull off if he was a real greedy person.
I’m not sure how groundbreaking the product will be either, but I’ve always enjoyed his programs in the past. There are always new nuggets of wisdom that I learn, even if their not exactly related to the main topic, it helps with the depth and understanding of whatever it is he’s trying to get you to wrap your head around.
I’m looking forward to seeing what he does.
I am personally attending this seminar and we just wrapped up day 2. i have been studying David D’s material for 3 years now. I own the original DYD Ebook, his Attraction Ebook, I started off with his Power Sexuality program, went onto the Mastery program and was mailed a copy of the Advanced Dating Techniques Program (2nd Edition) as part of the package for signing up for the seminar. I also have a grip of interviews with dating gurus, but i decided to end my subscription recently. I was skeptical too, but to be honest, after 2 days, it’s been more than what I expected, and we’ve only covered inner game so far. it can’t be that he only cares about the money because he’s guaranteeing everyone’s money back, plus $100 if you decide you want a refund, no questions no hassles. that’d be pretty ballsy for someone who cares more about money than helping people if you ask me. off to bed i go, i’ve got 3 more days ahead of me
Who cares if he is motivated by money? There is nothing wrong with being motivated by money. If his stuff works and is useful, I could care less if he is motivated because he believes little green men live on Mars.
Sheesh, people. If DD has something useful to impart, he SHOULD charge money for it. Get a grip.
Well, David DeAngelo is an expert on the field. Experts do get paid. Though I’m really following the track of Julian Foxx. You guys, should see his video with Mystery. It was really hilarious! Its on his site – julianfoxx.com.
