I was looking at the statistics for the website this morning, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
We’ve been growing at an incredible rate, and are retaining those visitors well.
Here are the RSS subscribers since we begun the blog (started back at the original blog). We’ve seen a huge growth in the last 6 months. I think we will get around 1000 RSS subscribers by year end.

The traffic for the last year (notice the surge in the last month or so)

Alexa, the website tracking company, tells me that in the last 3 months we’ve jumped 189,000 on their ranking scale for worldwide websites, now at 189,946.
Just recently we’ve been placed number one in the Dating Advice Blogs section of the Yahoo Directory which was cool.
So stick around and enjoy yourself. I’m having a blast getting your emails and reading your comments. If you haven’t already, subscribe to the RSS feed!

Hey Donovan!
I have no doubt that your blog is majorly pimping it… but I just wanted to let you know that Alexa statistics are totally not a great source of website information.
Alexa’s own website isn’t even listed on it’s statistics analysis… for one reason: It’d come up number one, and we know it’s not the number one site on the net. The way Alexa works is it gets it’s analysis from people NAVIGATING USING THEIR TOOLBAR. (I.e. a visitor’s visit to your website is only recorded IF the user is using the Alexa toolbar.)
The RSS subscriber-load though, speaks volumes. Congratulations for the hardwork paying off!
Congratulations, Donovan. Thanks for posting your stats. Stuff like that is nice to know.
I have to agree with PFC about Alexa. Their stats suck.
Defintely understood before hand about the Alexa ranking system. Although unreliable it serves as a decent marker compared to most other sites.
