We all know HOW David DeAngelo sells his dating advice, and we all know that it WORKS.

I’ve always been interested in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. In my mind, David Deangelo (Real name: Eben Pagan) is definitely the guy to learn from if you’re interested in this type of thing.

I know many of you are interested in this as well, and that’s why I’m informing you as it is NOT RELATED AT ALL to this blog specifically.

Having said that, David DeAngelo is such a big name in the community that I would be doing an injustice if I didn’t mention that he’s just launched a home version of his Get Altitude Entrepreneur Training. See below:

Altitude Training by David Deangelo

This is the same training that was held two months ago in Los Angeles for $10,000 per attendee. WOW!

Only 36 Hours Remaining

Eben stops selling this 15 (?) DVD home-study program TOMORROW or when supplies run out. (From an email I received an hour ago he has around 200 out of 1000 left). I’ve bought my set, and eagerly await it’s arrival in the mail. (The video clips on the website convinced me - truly amazing marketing insights) I think it’s reasonably priced for what he’s offering, considering the Mind of Mystery was $2500…

Eben has a few video clips up over at the website, so if you’re even just a bit curious you owe it to yourself to check them out here.

  1. the problem with all of these courses is that they’re so damn long. they think we WANT all those DVDs. WRONG.

it’s like books. do you want a thin book or a thick book? if you’ve read enough books, you know that 90% of the thick books out there have the same amount of content as the thin books plus a lot of bullshit.

please, if you can’t sum it up on one DVD, we don’t want it. or at least give us two versions:

1 - the one DVD version
2 - the full of bullshit version

we might actually buy the 1 DVD version. the bullshit version, no way!

  2. It will be interesting to see what happens to Double Your Dating. The industry has evolved dramatically since those products were released a few years ago. A major trend now is using in-field audio and video in products, or at the very least using women participants in seminars to demonstrate concepts. In the last year we have also seen several free guru/interview podcasts arrive on the scene, which has commoditized that format. I think DD has quality products, but this is a fast-moving industry where all the players have now adopted his marketing strategies. Smart move on his part to get into marketing and entrepreneurship DVDs, since the people who make the most money in a gold rush are the ones selling the equipment to the miners.

  3. Jonah - I’ve actually got to disagree with you on this comment, which is abnormal because usually I agree. I can understand the frustration and I agree that there are a bunch of products out there that you can cut about 90%. However, on Eben’s new product I’ve heard from a few attendees that he was literally leaking molten gold.

  4. Eben Pagan has moved on, DYD is likely to fade away. He’s doing something much bigger than ‘cocky funny’ now.

This product should be well worth its high price. It’s true that he’s hyping the price but you do get exceptional value for it.

Can’t say the same for recent high prices campaigns which went on in the seduction community (one of them is mentioned in the article).

  5. I checked out the site and the YouTube videos, and as always David D is a persuasive and charismatic speaker. But after listening for a while I realized that what he’s selling is really the “MBA in a box” type of product, which is to say basic business ideas. Is there anything new here? Not really, not if you are already familiar with business, and are fluent in the literature. Most of his stuff is just normal business knowledge packaged for a non-business audience. By non-business, I mean people who have just gotten into selling stuff online. But people who have studied business in school, maybe have an MBA, or have read a lot of business books know that there’s nothing new in what he’s actually teaching.

What you DO learn from this, and this is the good part, is how he uses YouTube for marketing. I don’t think he mentions it–well maybe in the video if you buy it, but just by observing his technique for selling this product, you know that YouTube/videos both on YouTube itself and on the landing page must be great for conversions.

David D IS an expert on direct marketing, especially online direct marketing. But when he starts talking about everything else that goes into the “MBA in a box” product, he’s really using borrowed concepts. But I understand what he’s doing, and there’s definitely a market for that, and I think he’ll sell a lot of product.

Also noticed that he’s shed some weight. Good for him.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know his ethnic background? Eban Pagan is that a real name? The only thing I could guess is Armenian??

  6. I’m not sure of Eben in particular. Pagan is central European. Swiss, German, French probably of gypsy decent (jokes).

  7. I just got confirmation from one of Eben’s friends that Pagan is an Italian last name. Root: Pagani.

  8. wow does every gpua want to get rich quick these days? im getting sick of these, OMG YOU GOTTE BUY THIS AWSOME PRODUCT ONLY 534975395$ DIRT CHEAP! there just trying to get rich on our expense…

  9. Awesome. Pagani.

    Ebenezer Pagani.

No offense, but I think he should have stuck with David DeAngelo

  10. well… he didn’t want to change his real name =)

  11. I’m surprised his PUA name isn’t “Pagan.” It would project a forbidden, animalistic image.

  12. Smart move on David’s part. THe seduction market is grossly over saturated.. time to move on. I wont be buying this course. but im sure it has more useful information that then the 124 differnt cd courses he’s been peddling over the last few years. Atleast we’ll finally hear somethign differnt out of his mouth.

  13. Damn Donovan…I already bought his course…would have used your affiliate link if I saw it before (Gotta support the seduction community!)

  14. Looks like a lot of useful material there.
