Your journey to become a pickup artist is one of dedication and humility.

This sounds like some weird spiritual journey, like from a Kung Fu movie, but it’s not. To become a pickup artist requires a path that few will have the courage to travel along, but the goal is worth it.

You need to make a choice. Is this something you want to accomplish? Are you willing to put in the work to make it happen?

Dedication

The process of becoming a pickup artist requires that you emulate in a short period of time, the interactions you should have had growing up. Interactions that are leading in a way that will continue to increase your skills over time. The problem with your interactions before is that you weren’t using correct principles. Most guys were using principles like showing her with attention, crowding her space, and winning her affection. When we implement correct principles and theories into our interactions we step closer to becoming a pickup artist.

Why?

Because you start destroying your bad habits with women and start replacing them with the habits that bring results. If you do this consistently your brain will do the rest. You require dedication because replacing habits is the hardest thing to do.

Humility

You need a huge bunch of humility for a number of reasons. Humility really is the ability to be taught and learn. Approaching and starting conversations with women can be an incredibly embarrassing experience especially with the first few. Critiquing yourself constantly and having to come to the realization that your pathetic with women is definitely not something you like to write in your journal. When things go wrong with with a woman you have to look at yourself and figure out what you did wrong. Sometimes it’s not your fault, but considering you’re coming from a place of scarcity, it probably is. This can be humiliating.

I’ve tried to make sure I remain dedicated and humble on my journey. Whether or not your looking to become a master pickup artist, these qualities are necessary if you are to have more success with women.

    Great points. I would add one more just to get to Three, the magic number.

    You need a sense of joy about it. It has to be fun, or you simply won’t do it. I mean, we all go through dry spells where we say we want women, and will do anything to get them, but end up sitting at home week after week talking to exactly ZERO women.

    Why?

    Because we don’t enjoy the process, and no matter how wonderful the reward seems, it’s not enough to motivate us.

    Let’s admit it. The motivation to bed hot women is not just sex. It’s social validation. We want to be liked, wanted, and admired by others, men and women. If the pre-requisite to getting that is only potential embarrassment and shame, we won’t do it. It’s not about busting a nut. You can do that at home playing solo.

    You have to find ways to enjoy the process of meeting and bedding women before you will ever get good at it.

    If it’s not fun, it’s done. And that’s why I will always focus on ways to help men meet great girls without feeling like an asshole while doing it. :)
