   great, more hundreds of pages of lies from the greatest manipulator in the self help industry, lies aimed at the sole purpose of making him rich on the expense of people that genuinely seek help and simply don’t no better than to believe him (hey, if they knew better, they probably wouldn’t have needed help anyway).

   i guess mr. neil won’t leave us alone for a long time and i also know that there will always be suckers to worship him.

   neil and his good friend erik are the greatest manifestation of our times of the idiom ’suckers never die’. suckers referring to those that follow them of course.

   what’s also too bad is that there are so many great PUA’s in this community, that have really cool stuff to offer to help guys, that can genuinely improve people’s lives, but those two (neil and erik) steal most of the spotlight.

   it’s a shame. at least lisa was prudent enough to dump that imposter. you guys should learn from her intuition.

   How can you say anything bad about two of the greatest pua’s of all time? They have both helped thousands of men realize the error of there ways and take a step forward to improving there lives. The things they preach have been proving time after time to work. After Ross Jeffries was around for about 432 years teaching his material Eric came along and made the art of pick up alot funner and comprehendable.

   “great, more hundreds of pages of lies”…….lies?….. even if they were, what a great story i say. that book, “The Game”, made me and no doubt others, aware of NLP which pu is heavily based on and a fascinating subject.

   “from the greatest manipulator in the self help industry”…..so you concede he is “the greatest” and yet bag the shit out of him. neil and erik alone has done more for pu (along with notable others) in educating men and women in the art of pu than any other person or people in pu history. they put themselves out there to be publicly scrutinised and ridiculed. it takes a brave person whether you like them or not to be able to do that.

   i have said my word, that’s all i care to say. think as you will, that i don’t take the time to answer does not make you right or wrong.

   the only q you asked i will answer is: “who do you follow, have looked up to, admired, or respected?”

   while i respect a lot of people (in the PU industry as well) i don’t look up to anyone. i trust and believe in myself and it serves me very well, economically and with women. i don’t have reasons to envy neil because i lack nothing in those two aspects.

   i wrote what i did in hope to try to help those who try for months on end to ‘get opinion on something’ from girls or to ‘body rock and time bridge’ and girls look at them like they fell from the sky, or at best giggle and give them #’s but never actually hook up with them.

   if anyone reading this is one of those guys - be sure there’s nothing wrong with you. you just picked the wrong method, as hyped as it may be. if you can’t find your own path with women instead, try looking around the community and there’s plenty of sane and fun methods out there, that are twice as effective. they don’t force you to recite scripts or calculate your moves by the second. and call everything in code names like A3 or “micro calibration” or LTMR or whatever. wtf. you can pick up girls like a rock star and keep your human form in the process. all you need to do is stay away from your two heroes neil and erik. that’s all that is required.

   if on the other hand you’re happy with neil and erik as your mentors, then who am i to get in your way.

   if you’re unhappy with the results you’re getting, once again, it’s not that “you’re not good enough”, it’s that you picked the wrong heroes. just try something else and be amazed.

   hoped i helped someone! i know i did many times in the past. people who were in a dark hole with women came into the community and then fell into a DARKER HOLE trying to ‘neg 2 times if it’s HB7.5 and neg 3 times if it’s HB9.2 and switch from A2 to A3 after 3 minutes and 47 seconds’. i had people thanking me personally that i woke them up from the nightmare and showed them that there can be another way. being a freak is not a requisite for picking up women. if you don’t like what you have become and it actually doesn’t get you women like you expected it will you are reminded that other options that are much more effective and much more fun await you.

   if i pissed off some neil worshiper in the process it doesn’t bother me. his anger will subside as he eagerly awaits the new word (ah, book) of his master, and every word said against his master today will only strengthens his faith in him, as it was with any cult throughout history.

   Incidentally, I wing with an approach coach for VA, who used to approach coach for TMM, and I can testify that it does work. Better than what I’ve done, and I’m a ‘natural’. You say there is a better system? Sack up and tell people.

   i did not name alternatives because i did not want it to sound like i’m promoting someone. it’s also depending on who you are as a person. i’m a very gutsy impulsive guy, the PUA’s i like may not fit others.

   one site i bumped into at another blog lately is http://www.puaratings.com , they seem to have created some sort of PUA directory with descriptions and also reviews and ratings. they have quite a few listed there so i guess one can probe options there, or somewhere else.

   if someone really wants help and advice for me you can email me, jimdones@yahoo.com , it’s an email i’m not afraid to give out, but i want to stress that i am not here to promote anyone, my criticism was genuine also i am not intimately familiar with all the products out there, when i browsed that site i mentioned i was overwhelmed how many there are and i guess they only have like half of them listed anyway..

    well what i wrote was that i didn’t recommend any others because i didn’t want it to sound that i’m promoting someone else, my criticism was genuine, and also what fits one may not fit another, i’m sort of a gutsy impulsive guy so you can guess i like certain PUA’s but that doesn’t mean that you will like them.

    i recently saw in another blog a new site puaratings.com that has some kind of a pua directory with descriptions and ratings options, i guess it can be one place to probe your options if you’re looking for another mentor, or find somewhere else, to be honest i was overwhelmed by the amount of products there are.

    anyway you just need to shop around until you find something that fits your personality in my opinion. if someone really wants advice from me you can email me ( jimdones@yahoo.com ) i don’t mind giving this email out it’s not my primary. not sure i’ll be able to help but i can try.

    about the VA thing, i don’t question what you saw, however:
    - when you say it worked, what happened? did the girl giggle and gave him #? because that’s the classic scenario of this method, giggles, phone numbers and then flakes. sure you can’t know if they had sex later or not, but if he got # it proves little.

    - even if it worked into a full close, does the guy has more going for him than the “method”? his vibe, his presence, his looks, material possessions or social status he bragged about (and called it a fancy name like D-H-V)? etc etc, it worked for HIM, will it work for you? if it does great, my post was intended for the ones that get lost with these specific methods and think that their options ran out (and believe me there are many guys like that!)

    i’m no dating coach brother. i wrote about that puaratings site where i know there’s comprehensive list of products, what else can i do besides that. if neil works for u use it. if he doesn’t, why do u wait for another masterpiece from him. step up, take command on your life - either seek someone else to learn from or go it alone. i saw that site and it seemed like a comprehensive representation of products so i recommended it. but i can’t take your hand click the link for you and choose a pua for you there. especially when i have no clue who u r and what your needs are.

    well i came here to read about neils new book…
    i think neils canned method stuff is pure shit!
    you feel like a robot reciting this stuff all the time and you get busted for it.
    i tried canned things like the esp opener and a lot of girls were like “thats from the internet from mystery”
    still, i’m thankful to neil since his stylelife challenge made me go out and the forums made me realize which parts of me are already attractive.
    ooh and mindshaping mp3 is really l33t. makes you feel like you are the one and only superhuman
    so neil helped me notice which qualities i have … but his technique is overhyped. there’s nothing worse then asking the same “quick question” that the last 10 loosers asked- you get the idea

    The “canned routines” DO work (I know from trying them here in Las Vegas). The average response wasn’t giggles….I’m in my 50s (!) and I had girls eating out of my hand.

    For someone to say that TMM does’t work because “the girl giggles or looks at you funny, or busts you because she saw it on the internet” is not a good argument. It’s like reading about a karate reverse punch, or practicing a karate reverse puch for a few weeks….then you get in a fight & get you ass kicked and say the karate punch doesn’t work”; it works IF YOU HAVE DEVELOPED THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO USE THE PUNCH.
    Similarly, canned routines DO WORK, if you’ve devloped the necesary skills to MAKE them work. It’s not the technique, it’s your skill level & delivery! There’s an old French saying; “There are no frigid woen…only clumsy men!”

    if you have the skills and delivery you do not need the routines. try saying something else instead of your routines but with the same confidence, and it will work all the same. the skill you are talking about likely didn’t come from a book you read. you ptobably use the routines because you are lazy to come up with your own stuff or because you believe that they are ‘field tested by the pros’ LOL. try saying anything else that’s not deliberately lame and you’ll see that it’s all the same.

    Actually I agree with you jim. You’re not trying to flame anyone or promote another PUA who you think is better (a point these guys seem to miss). But again, Neil Strauss was one of the first PUAs who caught my eye on the internet and made me begin looking for more of this stuff. Actually David Deangelo was the first with his “inner” stuff, but Neil pushed me a bit further. Over time I then realised that most of this stuff is too complicated. I don’t want to be a machine who has sacrificed his human feelings for women, I am comfortable where I am now, with the hottest girl in my class. Of course I’m still reading new stuff and practicing it on my GF and friends, but you get the point. There is not one greatest PUA artist, its what works best for you.

    jim, thanks for the opinions on neil and his book, but im with jonny on this one. confidance does not come easy to some guys so if it helps with pu’s mores the better i say. fortunatly ive never needed it but what a great read.(but it still helped)
