Damn I wish there was a way I could speak to others about the show right after it has gone off. I just finished watching it 30 minutes ago and I wanna talk to someone about it.

This show is great for guys who have always felt cut off from women.

>I wonder if the show is set in ATX because the woman to man ratio favors the men here (I am in ATX). All the girl’s here are fit and gorgeous and have slim pickin’s to choose from in the pool of men.

so not true. Texas is like the most obese state in the nation. sure austin is a little slimmer but not by much. Sorry, i had to leave austin. the ratio is not that good.

Great show. Just watched it. Yes, some of those guys are out there. The math dude is probably done for...unfortunately he is super smart and given enough time he could do this stuff.

The golfer pants dude is probably the most natural of the group but he doesn't realize that. The boxer has a chance to be the best, but he has a super fear of approaching. I know that, I was there once. It is hard.

The tall white guy with bad body language has lots to work on prior to doing this stuff. He should really fix that body language. He's bending over because he's so tall and he doesn't have the confidence to exude his tallness so he bends and slouches to make himself appear smaller. NO, DON'T DO THAT! Does he not see Mystery standing tall and using that to his advantage? BTW, Mystery is actually good looking and tall and has confidence out the ass. It really wouldn't matter what he did, he'd still pull pussy.

I'm rooting for the asian guy...spoonman. Well, it's spoon, but I'm trying to hip him up with a Soundgarden song. LOL

I have great empathy with all these guys. They look like me in some form or fashion. I think I'm an amalgam of all their issues. Or at least was. I'm not too good in clubs holding a group, but I'm good one on one.

I was watching this and when the one guy approached the girl who said she was a hairdresser, I'm thinking "ha ha, what a loser, hairdresser? and he's freaked out by that? She has no real job and if she hadn't won life's genetic lottery, she'd be at home." I mean really, come on guys, they weren't in hollywood talking to movie stars. These were everyday women and not all that attractive...well, don't get me wrong, some were quite cute, just not model material.

Oh and matador doing the "guess the number between 1 and 4" was quite lame. Are we going to "1 to 10" next? Oh, it's 7. LOL. Standard material. Actually, you could see they were all doing standard, canned material. Easy stuff. Hard to pull off when you're starting though.

all in all a fun show that I hope does well enough to get a second season. Yes, Mystery doesn't do well when he reads the canned scripts. The pauses...were...too...long...like...he...was...trying...too hard. Get him in a club and he's god, so not all is lost :)

Still kinda sucks that I had the chance to take one of Mystery's courses when it was only $600 for 2 nights in a club. WOW! ANd I would have had Style in my class. Fucking sucks that I didn't do that.

btw, I couldn't quite tell which one was Evan, but if it was who I think it was, she was cute!!!

p.s. I dl'd the show off of piratebay. I don't have a TV so I can't watch it. It's well worth paying for from iTunes.

I think the show is entertaining. Some of the guys in the show are already very attractive and sweet. These will benefit the most I think. Some are social morons and I think are beyond help. Those dudes will be the first to go. The one with the golfer pants whom people think he's gay is my favorite. I'm in love with him. He's gorgeous and nice and nerdy. That's the kind of guy I want for me.

I just wonder if the method is too environment specific and if it requires an inebriated subject to be effective. Most if not all videos I've seen of mystery at work include a totally wasted woman. That's like shooting fish in a pond. Anyone can get a drunk idiot to come home with you. I saw Jdog pick up a girl at a park, now, that was impressive.

I wonder if the show is set in ATX because the woman to man ratio favors the men here (I am in ATX). All the girl's here are fit and gorgeous and have slim pickin's to choose from in the pool of men. Guys who live here don't have to try there's literally 2 girls for every boy.

I felt this in the flesh when I went to NY for a while and amazingly cute (nerdy, quirky, smart, bohemian-edged) guys chatted me up, at the museum, the train, the street, probably because a girl like me is harder to come by even in that huge city when you get down to percentages. I was reminded that I am pretty and convivial. In the land of the blind the man with one eye is king. After that I realized I have to get out of Austin while I'm young and pretty because young, smart and pretty is a dime a dozen in the 'ol ATX. Everybody here knows that, but to actually experience it, that's eye opening.

Or maybe I can lean a think or two from these Pick Up Artists while I'm in town.

I thought the show was produced quite well, especially the bar scenes with the hidden cameras. Sometimes that stuff can be difficult to shoot.

Mystery seemed to come off a little weird to me, not like I've seen in other videos of him. His lines came off as scripted, which they probably were, but could've made a better delivery. Also, there wasn't enough of him. Maybe because it is just the first episode, so we'll see.

Well now that you have enlightened my mind by telling me that he lives above the actual club they filmed in. I now understand why him and his friends were there. I'm sure he goes there probably every night he can.

I just know that a lot of these so called "Reality" shows are partly scripted. Which is why I said what I did.
