Hi Donovan -

i’ll get us started with a quick one on DYD’s Cocky Comedy. I was at that one live – fun weekend. thats where i got interested in the community on top of just improving my game.
from memory -

- David D. talked about laughter as a part of the natural human mating ritual (agreed)

- Explained cocky & funny theoritically (cockiness implies high value/status, the humour makes it fun and takes it out of the ‘asshole’ category).

- example of cocky and funny stuff. I remember a breakdown of styles and types.

- guest speakers – Craig, 26, Will, Rich and Sean.

Craig was a blast to watch and he gave lots of lines. his vibe comes through in his presentation very well – you don’t wonder if he’s any good because its a no-brainer that women would want to be around the guy.
Will… don’t remember too much. he read out a few jokes.. not the best presentation. but he’s a really nice guy.
26 – high energy, fast paced humour and presentation.
Rich was the pick of the lot, IMO. Genuinely funny guy – and effortlessly so. his delivery is like a stand up pro’s. told funny real life stories,
Sean was the inspirational piece to round it up. told his story, and with his disability – it comes out inspirational. some talk about belief systems and NLP. he’s a good guy, too. “take her to the zoo and tell her she looks like the animals”, was a piece of advice he gave.
David himself was more relaxed and enjoying himself on stage than usual – which made the whole thing better, too. Listening to him talk about humour in his heavy, humourless voice can be amusing. This day, he was having fun – which was a nice touch.

i’ve seen a number of bad reviews of this product. thats just macho stuff from guys who like to think they’re past needing early material. attraction is still the biggest sticking point for most guys (check any forum for evidence) – highly recommended for them. you’ll get the ‘feel’ of a fun interaction, as well as a bunch of lines to create that.
the product should help take care of all those, “I offended her by mistake” type situations.

NOTE – i haven’t seen the DVDs or heard the CDs.

look forward to your reviews,
cheers,
Sting

I have the “Cocky Comedy” CDs from David D and I can second what Sting said.
I found it very interessting what David said about the theory of humour and laughter in human interactions.

Sean is another topic. That Guy is UNBELIEVABLE !!! He is extreamly short, sitting in a wheelchair and (I can’t find the right words…)he’s a positive person despite all trouble he has, he’s just having fun with the girls, he’s having a good life.
If you wand to know what your attitude can do for your life – listen to this guy.
I can only take my hat off to him. No, I should actually BOW LOW.
His presentation alone is worth the money.

… and his Dating-Advice “take girls to IKEA” is pure gold!
I did that after I got new furniture for my living room and like most men I had no idea how to decorate it. So I took the girl I’m “working on” to IKEA and another shop and it was great. I usually hate shopping but we had a lot of fun, other topics to talk about, it was playful AND now I have a nicely decorated living room.
You can also practice for a long term relationship – she chooses, you have to pay ;-)

Most of the other guest speakers did a good job. Especially Craig and Rich.
Not only a lot of good ideas but I actually laughed my ass off.
