I don’t know what happened technically, but the mystery method is mystery. Not love systems. Most people have never met either myself or Erik (“Mystery”). I understand that in such a case, it’s really easy to take Mystery’s side. After all, a lot of people have read The Game, and Mystery comes across as the hero of the book.

Of course, The Game was written by Neil Strauss, who Erik frequently refers to as his “best friend”. I have nothing against Neil, but he’s hardly an unbiased source on Erik’s true nature.

I would correct some comments in this thread though. There were never any loans from the company to me. I loaned money TO the company to get it off the ground and its never been an issue. Nor did Mystery ever “train” me. I never took a bootcamp with him and the first MM bootcamp I attended, I attended as an instructor. Nor does the current split have anything to do with the fact that Erik wasn’t working or meeting his commitment.

Just because someone is good at self-promotion and was at one time an innovator in the community does not mean that someone is an honest or ethical person. There were a lot of people who contributed to building Mystery Method between 2004 and 2006. There were agreements and contracts in place. Then all of a sudden, Erik and/or Stan (Matador) hacked the website, stole the passwords and the domain, and shut it down. We went to court to protect our interests.

Yes it’s weird that as a result of the courts rulings, we own Mystery Method. But that will sometimes happen when the other side does the sorts of things that Erik, Stan, and Chris did. Still, I remain open to a fair settlement that fairly splits the assets Erik and I created together when we were working together. If and when Erik is prepared to negotiate instead of demanding it all, then I’ll see him at the negotiating table.

Fortunately, courts don’t care about drama; they get to the facts.

I still don’t get it. Mystery came up with MM, why be a dick and try to take it from him. Fuck laws, it just makes sense to let him have it. He came up with a lot, why get legal about it.

this is a huge joke…nick benedict is aplain old loser…he used to be a nerd then mystery helped him by teaching him TMM. on top of that nick the prick shows his graditude by stabbing Mystery in the back and trying make it look lik mystery is still on mysterymethod.com website…why else would he want the name…and some of the things iv heard from the instructors like rokker the don, etc. there low quality losers they basically teach something close to total garbage.

This is a great tragedy to the community, but it is a business as well. It’s kind of like the NFL. You have a league, the seduction community. You have teams, the businesses the create, teach, and promote seduction. You have the coaches, Savoy and Mystery (since this is about them). You have the players, the people who have been taught by and instruct for them. And you have the fans, the entire community.

For some fans their favorite is Savoy, for others it is mystery, and for still others it might be another master or guru. Sometimes a fan chooses their favorite team by familiarity, sometimes by a favorite player, or sometimes they just like the system of play. At game time they root for their favorites and hate on the others and sometimes they just enjoy the game. The season progresses and rivalries become more important throughout the playoffs, but at the end there are just two… Mystery Method vs. The Venusian Arts for the Super Bowl.

But the most interesting thing is… no matter who you are a fan of… when the season is over… all fans miss it. They are all still fans of the game.

I have some personal opinions on the lawsuit, but I am neither the Judge, Participants, or Jury, so when the outcome is decided…

I hope the things mystery created he has the legal rights to use, that the community can heal this great divide, and that the game continues to be enjoyable for all who participate and all who are fans.

well, having listened to all those comments, i having being trained by mystery himself at a bootcamp in miami07, am sad that the master and yes he is a master to have analysed how women behave and behaved and work out in a way that is put onto paper format for us to use…
in nlp you have whats know as chunking up, ie looking at the bigger picture and then you have chunking down, ie forensic scientists use this method.
mystery has used his creative side , hes left handed to chunk down and put this creation onto paper…
those who he taught have stolen the works of a master , a genius, and its a shame that greed has taken over.
i do wish you mystery all the success that you deserve and get the site and all you intelectual properties back….

Was the domain name held by the llc? and for something as easy as picking up a chic and as difficult as it is to learn. you need the advisment of a patent attorny (not a solisitation). To protect the mind is as important as protecting the product BTW don’t hate the lover….love the lover hate the game that was played. If you wanna play, play; but know when to play… and when the heart becomes involved and real.

Hmmm… I don’t know about any of this lawsuit crap, and don’t really care. I’ve heard two sides to this story, and am content to let the courts deal with it.

That said, I took a MM bootcamp about two weeks ago and it was WELL worth the price I paid. The instructor knew his shit like a college professor, taught it well, ensured we were “getting it”, and demonstrated his skillz by pulling ass on demo night. The followup by the business staff has been entirely professional.

Bottom line, I’m a happy, satisfied customer… and I’m leaving the bullshit and drama to the courts.
